An Inclusive Play Centre, and So Much More...

ABC Children's Centre is a family business in Moreton, Wirral. It combines an inclusive playcenter large enough for 20-25 children (aged 0-7), an innovative party venue, and a shop that sells refreshments, children's goods, pocket money toys, and preloved children's cloths.

We believe strongly in the merits of Pay As You Go Walk-in play and stay sessions, with themed events or sessions being included in the standard entry fees. We also allow children to play as long as you like.

​

The playcenter offers a soft-play zone with a 2 storey play frame, ball pit,  spinners, and balancing equipment. Our 2 sensory rooms include the Calm zone, with a relaxing sensory den that can be closed off if your child prefers quiet play or needs to decompress. Imagination Street hosts a range of imaginative play installations, including wooden retail and catering units, a kitchen, services such as a veterinary clinic, and lots of dress-up costumes, We have everything needed to care for dolls and teddy bears, a reading corner, and musical instruments. Our seasonal play area allows us to adapt to topical themes, having over time, incorporated a sandy summer beach, an autumnal  walk in the woods, and a winter grotto. We also have an everchanging variety of threading and mark-making activities.

For pre-walkers and wobbly-walkers, we have a dedicated baby area, where they can play safely, away from any potential harm caused by older children.

The ABC Refreshment Zone offers unrivaled value among our peers. Coffees cost just £2, and include complimentary syrups. Teas are £1.50, and all our cans are £1. We also sell snacks, and a range of cakes that are all baked in Moreton. We have a Vegan and Gluten-free section, and a microwave so you can warm up the pasties and sausage rolls that we sell.

Throughout the playcenter, there is seating for approximately 20 adults, including a comfortable sofa and a nursing chair.

ABC offers an original approach to parties, with value coming with choice. Our 2 hour party slots cost as little as £100 for exclusive hire of the play centre. Options can be added, including provision of tables and chairs so you can eat your own food, catering if you'd prefer us to provide platters, and entertainment, including party games and dancing. ABC parties are ideal for children's birthday parties, or any other type of party where entertaining children is a priority, such as christenings, baby showers, and other family events. Because we are aimed at babies, toddlers, preschool and infant school aged children, we really do have something for a wide range of ages.

ABC's shop inspired the centre, as a whole. It's functions are twofold. Firstly, children's cloths are sold at charity shop prices, helping provide for people who are unable to afford to, or choose not to pay supermarket prices for items that are usually worn for short periods before they are outgrown. Secondly, we extend the life of many items, that may otherwise prematurely go to landfill. We gratefully receive donations to be used in the playcentre, or be sold on to help us keep our playcenter prices at such great value.
